Crews are on scene to begin repairs.  Customers in the area will experience a water outage for approximately one hour while the line is being repaired.

Palisade Land Development Code

The Palisade Land Development Code is the document which establishes the regulations and standards governing the use and development of land with the Town.  It includes provisions for the annexation, subdivision and zoning of land, as well as the procedures governing the administrative and public review of development applications.  Also included are Town standards for site design, landscaping, parking and public infrastructure.  

The Land Development Code is adopted for the purpose of promoting the public health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of Palisade.

The Town of Palisade, thanks to a grant from the Department of Local Affairs, has completed an update to the Palisade Comprehensive Plan.

The 2022 Palisade Game Plan (the “2022 Game Plan”) will guide future land-use decisions in Palisade to realize the vision developed through this community engagement process. The 2022 Game Plan allows the community to collaborate on Palisade’s future. The 2022 Game Plan was adopted by the Palisade Planning Commission on February 7, 2023 and by the Palisade Board of Trustees on February 28, 2023.

A Comprehensive Plan is an official public document designed to guide the future development or redevelopment of a community in order to create and maintain a desirable environment and to promote the public health, safety, and welfare. The plan is intended for use by public officials, citizens, and developers in making decisions about future development of the Town of Palisade and the surrounding area of Mesa County.

The Town of Palisade has created specific zone districts, the boundaries of which are established by ordinance and displayed on an "Official Zoning Map".  This map can be found on the Town GIS site at the link below. *Note, use the zoning overlay on the layer list.

The zone districts are established to implement the Comprehensive Plan and to promote the purposes of the Land Development Code.  A summary of these zone districts can be found in the key below.
