Spring is here and the invasion of weeds is upon us!
Owners, tenants, and property managers within the Town of Palisade are required to cut all weeds to the ground and continue to cut and remove all weeds, brush, and rubbish of any kind according to Section 7-93 of the Palisade Municipal Code. Weed removal covers the entire property, including the area between the property lines and any street or curb, and to the centerline of any alley adjoining the property.
Failure to remove weeds, brush, and rubbish may result in the Town removing weeds, brush, and rubbish at the property owner's expense and/or the issuance to the property owner, tenant, and/or property manager of a Summons to Appear in Municipal Court.
