Remember, as trees grow and dress themselves in their Spring time green, the tree branches are getting heavier. Check your trees next to sidewalks and streets for low-hanging or damaged branches. Tree branches should not hang lower than 11 feet from the street and 9 feet from the sidewalk.

Section 11-4 - Trees: Trimming Requirements
All trees standing on any private property in the Town shall be kept trimmed by the owner or occupant of the property so that the branches of such trees and plants projecting over any roadway or alley shall be not less than eleven (11) feet from the ground. All such trees standing on any property in the Town shall be kept trimmed by the owner or occupant of the property so that the branches of such trees and plants projecting over any public sidewalk or private driveway shall be not less than nine (9) feet from the ground.
